When ordering a machine, particularly larger, floor standing machines, it is essential that you establish whether the proposed site will be suitable for the specified machine, and that access arrangements to the site e.g. doors, corridors, stairs, landings etc., allow safe transport of the machine from the delivery vehicle through the relevant building(s) to the final destination.
Note: If it is intended to place a machine outside, with exposure to the elements, suitability also extends to the type of machine involved. Not all machines are designed for this purpose. Unless machines are suitably IP (Ingress Protection) rated, they should not be placed outside. Information regarding machine suitability for outside use can be found on product pages but, if still in doubt, please check with us.
Some vending machines require their own power or water supply and the customer will need to confirm these are conveniently located. Connection to an appropriate and convenient supply is provided for some vending machines and water coolers as part of the installation process, although it is likely that there will be additional charge if this is not straightforward.
Machines that require a site survey prior to ordering and delivery have a link on the relevant product page. This will take you to a form which requires full completion, before being forwarded to Intelligent Vending for scrutiny. If access and location arrangements are judged to be satisfactory, the order will be progressed and delivery arranged. If queries are raised regarding any aspect of the form you will be contacted directly by a member of Intelligent Vending staff before delivery is confirmed.
Customers should be aware that if it is not possible to carry out the installation/collection/relocation of machines because of the inadequate nature of the information provided beforehand in the site survey form, additional costs may be incurred as a result of the need to return the machine to the factory, and/ or the need for a further visit and/or use of specialist equipment.
If customers are not confident completing the site survey, we can arrange for an engineer to visit and complete this task on your behalf. You will be informed regarding the cost of this before an engineer visit is booked on your behalf. For large orders, Intelligent vending will conduct site surveys free of charge.
The importance of ensuring the site is suitable for the chosen vending machine cannot be over-emphasised, since once Intelligent Vending Ltd has processed your order, full payment will be required irrespective of whether the vending machine is subsequently judged to be unsuitable (excluding damaged goods).
